I was in my early twenties when, by chance, I saw an exhibition of documentary photos called 'Images of Man'. From that moment I was hooked and hardly a day has gone by since then when I haven't felt enthused and excited by photography. I became a lifelong admirer of the work of the top reportage photographers - Elliott Erwitt, Jane Bown and Tony Ray-Jones amongst many others. I started to take photographs myself and was lucky enough to have some early successes. I began to establish myself as a professional photographer and was commissioned to produce portraits and features for a variety of publications. [My photos have been published in The Guardian, The Times, The Financial Times, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph and recently on Channel 4 News]. I worked as a production photographer, primarily for Bristol Old Vic Theatre Company and for many years I devised and taught a course on photography in Bristol. I also began photographing documentary style weddings. Not many at first but slowly the numbers grew. As I photographed more so my enthusiasm for wedding photography grew until I was quite passionate about getting the very best pictures from every wedding. About 15 years ago I moved to Bath, where I live with my family. I am still photographing weddings and I am still passionate about getting stunning images from every wedding and then turning those images into beautiful prints. For that reason I hope that you choose me as your wedding photographer.
